Eva and Sadie and The Worst Haircut Ever- Children's Book Council

This book is so adorable and funny!  I loved it!  The two sisters in this book, Eva and Sadie are so funny together and the message throughout this book is very important for children to understand.  Sadie feels that her younger sister’s hair is too long, so she takes matters into her own hands and cuts it herself!  As I was reading this, it seemed like something I would do as a child. When I was little, I attempted to cut my own hair, my mother was furious! The message of this story is that it is okay to make mistakes as long as we understand that we cannot make the same mistake twice.  This message is very important for children to understand, because since no one is perfect mistakes will be made, but it is important to learn from them and to not make the same mistake again.
